(More customer reviews)It worked, but not very well. I bought this to teach my grandaughter how to sew and in a year a two I was going to give it to her. But I had to send it back. The thread kept breaking and it was hard to thread. Also, it kept jamming up. It really wasn't a very good performing machine and very frustrating to use. No, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Sorry.
